CPI Steady at 2.7%, Trump's Iran Tariffs Threaten China Truce

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for December was unchanged at 2.7% year over year which the market appears to be celebrating. Elsewhere President Trump has threatened 25% tariffs on any country doing business with Iran over the recent killing of protesters.
