from Poetry by Tim Windisch · host Tim Windisch
Crash Wild times, borderline crimes Couch diving for nickels and dimes Low on cash, knives in the burner for hash Empty paper towel tube, toke it till you crash Laughing at the mixture, my memory holds the picture Crazy kids doing crazy stuff, two things that were always a fixture Times change, new vocation; people living in a new location Mentally or physically, depends on your own machination Road rash, never smart to drive if you been at your stash Put your life at risk, and everyone’s affected when you crash Center depends, on who’s holding onto the lens Left and right is a debate the never really ends No one wants pain, but some don’t mind turning a blind eye past it for a gain Shielded by their Lord’s umbrella cursing the heathens they left out in the rain The Phoenix rose out of the ash, pick fights and someone will smash Your panorama will break, all your crooked schemes are going to crash Crash a little if you’re weary, crash if life has got you teary Crash and dream of your best life in the twenty-first century Laugh at the joke, might be a little funnier if you take a little toke Try not to take too much, cause all your going to do is cough and choke Don’t waste my stash, we may be broke, but thank God we got a little cash To grab a bag and try to forget the worlds problems tonight, take a rip and crash Tim Windisch 09/11/2023
