Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S01E10- I'm Back At Camp With Josh!

Thank you very much to Julia for commissioning this episode! This episode was for some reason so much harder to watch than the last one, and I think maybe a big part of that has to do with sincerity. In the last episode, the inappropriate pole-dance is accompanied by denial and no self-awareness. This time, her humiliation is inflicted while she's attempting to be emotionally vulnerable, and I think that's why it came across so much more harshly. When Josh laughs in her face (a totally valid response, I must say) she's fully aware that she is in love with him, and wanting his approval, so of course it hits harder. Man, I don't know what to think about this sequence of events because I didn't really want her and Josh together but it seems like they're sort of pushing them together and even though in some ways I'm resistant, I can't help but start to root from them.
