Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Concert Special
And now it's time to say goodbye. Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode, and for commissioning the lion's share of the show. Thanks also to all of you who have chipped in along the way to ensure that I got to the end. I'm so glad that I got to experience this with you all. This special was a really great way to say goodbye, and I'm looking forward to seeing some performances that were apparently cut from the final episode. I will miss these characters so much and I really can't wait to see what Rachel Bloom gets up to next. Thanks again to you all for listening, and I will see you around!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E17- I'm In Love
Thank you so much to Megan who commissioned this episode and also commissioned a live watch! I can't believe the story is over (well, it's not over at all, but you know what I mean). This was a deeply satisfying finale and I'm so happy with how everything shook out in the end. I wasn't sure what direction they were going to go in, but I decided to have faith and it paid off. This is just what I wanted. Thank you all again so much for listening, and stay tuned for one last farewell episode before we bid the series goodbye.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E16- I Have A Date Tonight
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is the second-to-last episode and the next one is called I'm In Love and I am DYING to find out who Rebecca picks. Because there's a sort of vibe here that the show is leaning towards Greg and really...I just don't want that? I think everyone here needs to be single for a while longer, honestly. And Rebecca feels like she's barely got her feet under her at this point. Also....weird Al is here!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E15- I Need To Find My Frenemy
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! This episode was a lot of fun, and a much-needed regroup with the Girl Gang considering how close we are to the end of the show. It's interesting to see how this show injects zaniness now that Rebecca isn't the main source of dysfunction anymore, and I think this worked out really beautifully. Also, I am interested in Paula's new job and getting to see her succeed, and I really wish that we were going to have more time to watch that happen. Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E14- I'm Finding My Bliss
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! This episode is the one where Rebecca decides to join a community musical theatre review, and she is a little startled to revisit her old favorites and realize how poorly they've aged. I CAN RELATE, REBECCA. Meanwhile, her boys are all doing various things to bring her closer, with varying levels of success. Who am I rooting for? Am I rooting for anyone? Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E13- I Have To Get Out
Thank you to Jacqui for commissioning this episode! This episode is the one where Paula is trapped in the hospital while desperate to get out and take the bar exam, and Rebecca is trying to help while also realizing that she needs to start asking herself what she really wants out of life. Thanks for listening, and I will see you again very soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E12- I Need A Break
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is the one where Paula has a very long, drawn-out heart attack, and yet insists on continuing to plug away all day because she's a maniac. Can't relate. Also, Rebecca is faced with the specter of abandonment, and she doesn't cope super well because she has gotten lax on her work. It doesn't go super well...but in the end, she makes the right choice. Thanks so much for listening!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E11- I'm Almost Over You
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! When I realized this was going to be a Nathaniel-centric episode I was very unsure how I would feel about it, but it turns out that this was actually a fun episode. I really liked the handling of his expectation that he can DO something to get her back, and I loved Rebecca's reaction to hearing about his daydream. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E10 - I Can Work With You
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is the one in which Rebecca and Greg get back together while she's babysitting Daryl's kid. Also, Paula is hosting a totally not-important game night that is certainly not to celebrate an achievement of hers or anything like that. Thanks for listening!

54
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E09- I Need Some Balance
Thank you to Tegan for commissioning this episode! This episode is when Rebecca decides that she really needs to get some play, but unfortunately runs into some gynecological issues that complicate things. Meanwhile, Nathaniel and Greg run into one another at the gym and become friends. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E08- Not The Person I Used To Be
Thank you to Lauren for commissioning this episode! So unfortunately the live-watch of this episode didn't go as planned, but I can understand why so many of you wanted one. This is the one in which Greg comes back....kind of. He's been recast, and as I learn during the recording, that was mostly for practical reasons due to availability of the original actor. However, they turned it into a metaphor which honestly is a smart move. However, I'm going on record: this Greg sucks. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E07- I Will Help You
Thank you so much to Lauren for commissioning this episode!I talk for a while in this one about the pluses and minuses of letting your characters grow when so much of the comedy is reliant on them all being giant messes. There are any number of ways you can handle that in a script, but I'm not totally sure that I'm loving watching some of these arcs as much anymore, and I feel bad about that. That said, I really did like this episode because it's Rebecca establishing boundaries in a way that feels so important, despite the fact that her mother isn't SUPER receptive. Also, the whole thing with Josh causes me to RANT. So get ready for that. Thank you all again for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E06- I See You
Thank you ever so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! While I wasn't a major fan of the musical number for this episode (Trapped In A Car does, at least, succeed in conveying the feeling of being trapped!) I actually rather liked the overall structure of it. However, I also had some major problems with it and I felt a certain WAY about a certain scene with a certain mustachioed man, and I'm gonna stand by that. Also, there's a whole thing with Nathaniel and I guess we're still doing this whole thing. Idk. Fine. Thanks again so much to all of you for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E05- I'm So Happy For You
Thank you to Collette for commissioning this episode! This is a fun episode to me, although I will just say here that Owen wasn't really a fan...but what does he know, anyway? This could have gone in a few different directions, and it still might, but the crux of the matter is that Rebecca's friends are all moving on to new phases of their lives and she's not. She can handle this (or not) in a multitude of ways, and what she chooses is trying to pretend that she's young a hip and it's sooooo embarrassing. While that's going on, we've got Paula dealing with the fact that the son she's finally feeling closer to is suddenly not only moving out, but leaving the country altogether. I really loved this development and I am eager to see what her other son gets up to. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E04- I'm Making Up For Lost Time
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is a pretty fun one, because we get a new character (granted, I don't expect to see him again) who really gives us the vibes of Rebecca as youngster? And not just because he stole her diary and is quoting her back to herself the whole time? Meanwhile, I'm a big fan of how she dumps Nathaniel. GOOD FOR YOU, GIRL. Thanks again for listening, and I will be seeing you all again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E03- I'm On My Own Path
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! I'm really excited about this episode because Rebecca is finally coming to the realization that being a lawyer just does not make her happy. It's a massive change to have followed a prescribed plan of education and career for over a decade, perhaps even two, and then suddenly decide it's not actually what you want. It's enough of an upheaval that most people do not decide to do it, and I admire Rebecca having the guts to do something else. But I am worried about the money! And also in this episode, Heather and Hector get married and it's honestly really sweet and adorable and I'm super happy for them. Yay!Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S04E02- I Am Ashamed
Thanks to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is the first Halloween episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and I guess it must also be the last, but they really did a great job with the themes of fear and being haunted. I really loved this one, and I love "Do The Cringe" because I'll be damned if I'm not haunted by shit that I said and did every hour of every damn day. I hope that you all enjoy listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Ss04E01- I Want To Be Here
Thank you to Nicole for commissioning this episode! So we're into Season 4 now, and it looks like this is going to be quite a ride. I really appreciate the show's acknowledgement that Rebecca is in an absurdly privileged position within this whole situation, and that for her this is some kind of Eat, Pray, Love personal journey shit while there are people who have had their lives destroyed. I am totally into this whole thing with Josh trying to self-diagnose using online quizzes, because damn if that shit ain't for real. Thanks for listening, everyone, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend S03E13- Nathaniel Is Irrelevant
Thank you to Sofia for commissioning this episode! I had no idea this was the season finale episode, and I had quite a shock at the direction this episode took in the end. Damn but this was a real surprise. I am trying to imagine what will happen in the next episode and the next season, and all things considered I have no idea. But I can't wait to find out!Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

44
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E12- Trent?!
Thank you to Tegan for commissioning this episode! I'm actually delighted to see Trent again, because in a lot of ways he exhibits the same behavior as Rebecca except without the compunctions she had to stay looking a little more sane. Rebecca managed to get away with a lot because of that, but I like that she's on the receiving end for a change. However, I'm not a fan of the fact that she decided to lie to Paula YET AGAIN. C'mon, Rebecca, you're better than that. JUST TALK TO HER AND TELL HER THE WHOLE TRUTH. Anyway, thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
43
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S0311- Nathaniel And I Are Just Friends!
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! So this one has a surprisingly heartstring-tugging ending considering how little investment I really have in Rebecca and Nathaniel together. I guess that's a good sign, in that they've made it adequately compelling just because I care about Rebecca, whether or not Nathaniel is a factor. Also there's a pretty fun little time-jump this episode, and I'm really never going to get over Dr. Akopian's solo because DAAAAAMMMNNN.Thanks for listening!

42
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E10- Oh, Nathaniel, It's On!
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This episode deals with (kind of) the thing that's been bothering me for a while now about Nathaniel, which is how he was a really fun asshole type at the start of his introduction to the show, but as he became more and more of a romantic option for Rebecca, the show pulled way back on some of his more abrasive or unhealthy characteristics. It bothered me how we were supposed to apparently just forget who he'd been, and only see this new, boring version of him that had sprung up in its place. Meanwhile, there's a whole thing with Heather trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life, and she's really startled to find out that she's a good fit in a corporate setting because she brings new ideas that are desperately needed. I really enjoy the super awkward thing with her ethnicity and her boss trying to navigate that. Thank you all again for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E09- Nathaniel Gets The Message!
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This was a really fun one for me, as one of my favorite parts of this show is watching side characters that we love getting to know one another better and develop relationships. Getting to see Nathaniel and White Josh become buds and bond over the fact that they're super hot and still got dumped is hilarious and also oddly touching. Meanwhile, Rebecca is trying to distract herself with some volunteer work, but it turns out that as a distraction, it's not really super successful. Eek. Thanks for listening, and see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E08- Nathaniel Needs My Help!
Thank you very to Tegan for commissioning this episode! Hoo boy, everyone. This was a rough one. I'm only realizing now as I type this up that this episode shows us a return to the title ending in an exclamation point, and I'm pretty concerned that this could mean a return to some of Rebecca's past behavior. On a more continuous basis than just this episode, I mean. I just didn't really like the premise of the conflict Nathaniel, I don't like how watered down his character has become, and I'm not terribly interested in the whole thing with Daryl and the baby. The one real high point of this episode was Josh getting kicked out by his mom. Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E07- Getting Over Jeff
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! Apologies if my sound quality isn't very good on this one! I start off describing some issues connecting with Crowdcast which turned out to be a precursor to the computer meltdown which lost me that Dresden Files episode. Shortly after recording this I found out that the locally recorded file was corrupted, and I had to pull the sound from Crowdcast. I'm really interested in the direction the show is taking in focusing on one of the other women's attachment to her ex. The fact that this is the first episode whose title doesn't include Josh's name, and that's really a beautiful bit of information about where Rebecca's head is at. Thank you all so much for listening to this episode, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E06- Josh Is Irrelevant.
Thank you to Erica for commissioning this episode! What a great episode this was. Of course it's super satisfying to have Rebeccas FINALLY realize what we've known all along, namely that Josh isn't the actual issue. But even more than that, it's great to watch her be surrounded by friends who are so supportive and care about her so much, and to watch her LET them care even though it's tough at first. Also, there's the issue with her diagnosis, which is really interesting because I haven't seen BPD dealt with on a show before, so I'm very curious to see how it's handled. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E05- I Never Want To See Josh Again.
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode and to Julia for commissioning the live watch! This episode is a really tough one, and I'm gonna be honest it's a messy recording. So I hope you're all prepared for me to be messy because it's about to get real sniffly up in this bitch. This episode is all about Rebecca's hopelessness and feelings of total isolation and despair, and how much self-loathing she has about the things she said to her friends. The irony of the episode is that every time we go back to West Covina, all we see are her friends worrying about her and wanting to see her and hoping she's okay...but Rebecca just thinks that they never want to see her again. Ugh.Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E040- Josh's Ex-Girlfriend Is Crazy.
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This might be one of the most entertaining episodes of this show so far, despite how fucked up this situation really is. There's a certain satisfaction in seeing Josh squirm because he's really forced her hand to do something drastic to get his attention (not that I'm saying he DESERVED this...well, maybe I am a little). However, there's the devastating lead-in to the fun part, in which Rebecca purposefully alienates all of her friends in a misguided attempt to vent her embarrassment at their discovery of her secret and her fear that they will reject her. In short, she is so sure they're going to reject her, that she decides she will reject them first. It's a tough episode in a lot of ways, but also so FUNNY and I really don't know what to expect next. Thanks so much for listening!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E03- Josh Is A Liar.
Thank you. so much to Tegan for commissioning this episode! Oh man this one was a real doozy. I can honestly say that I have no idea what is going to happen in the next one based on the way this one just ended. I am absolutely never going to forgive Rebecca for making Paula second-guess her work, and I want Paula to figure out that's what she was doing because I low-key think Rebecca deserves more blowback from that than about what she did to Josh. Listen, I know that what she did to Josh is shitty and trashy, but honestly there's not much I can think of that she could do to get back at Josh other than taking away his friends and family. SUPER interested to see how his family reacts to all this, BTW. Anyways, I'm on the edge of my seat and I don't get to watch the next episode until like...September? So yeah I'm mad about it. Thanks for listening, and I will see you again EVENTUALLY with a new episode.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E02- To Josh, With Love.
Thank you ever so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! I'm so glad to see that Rebecca is having the same difficulty picking something devastating to do to Josh, because I still keep thinking about it and coming up with nothing. However, I'm NOT glad to see what she decides to do in the end, because to be honest it's the worst possible move and I'm so angry with her. Also, she sleeps with Nathaniel in this episode, and I'm really not sure that I'm for this whole thing. I'm kinda hoping that it doesn't continue too much longer, but also I like his character and don't want him to leave? Gah. Thanks again for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

33
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S03E01- Josh's Ex-Girlfriend Wants Revenge.
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! I cannot believe that I didn't see it coming that Rebecca would literally run and hide, but it makes total sense and honestly I'm not sure I wouldn't have done the same thing. What's even MORE shocking, though, is that Josh has literally not said a word to Rebecca since disappearing and I am completely disgusted. How, sir? HOW???Thank you all again so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!
-
32
The Magicians, S05E01- Do Something Crazy
Thank you very much to Jessie for commissioning this episode!Well it's been a minute since I finished off Season 4, but honestly it feels like it's been about a week, at most. I'm really excited to be starting the new season, and I'm exciting that we're spending a good amount of time with Julia because I've liked her a lot for a while now and I have wanted her to have a chance to shine more than she has. Meanwhile, whatever is going on in Fillory is a goddamn nightmare and I hate it. Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2 WRAP-UP!
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This was a fun one because it's all focused on what I think is going to happen next season. Megan has a list of questions for me to contemplate, and it turns out that the toughest one to answer is, "What would you do to get back at Josh?" and I realized that I have no fucking idea. What do you do to a dude who seems to be bulletproof to the kind of consequences most adults deal with? Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
30
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E13- Can Josh Take A Leap Of Faith?
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! Wow. That shit went even left-er than I expected. I honestly have no idea what the hell Josh is thinking. Like, how legit is this desire to become a priest? Will he immediately regret what he did, or is he gonna stick to this? And how will Rebecca be getting revenge? How can anything possibly make you feel better after being so wholly abandoned just when you thought it was all coming together? Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

29
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E12- Is Josh Free In 2 Weeks?
Thank you ever so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! We've got a special one here, because Owen was able to join me not just for the live watch, but also the recording! He and I talk about our wedding plans and the absolute insanity of Rebecca trying to not only do all this herself, but do it in two weeks. SO MUCH BURLAP. Meanwhile, Owen's not really buying Valencia's decision to help plan the wedding, while I'm totally here for it and completely willing to suspend any disbelief because I just want to see what all she comes up with. Oh also, SETH GREEN IS HERE!Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
28
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E11- Josh Is The Man Of My Dreams, Right?
Thank you to Megan for commissioning this episode! So wow but shit has ALREADY gone off the rails for Rebecca and Josh and they've been engaged about ten minutes? Somehow Nathaniel sees her tits and is just intent on having sex ASAP, and the Santa Ana devil winds are here to make it EXTRA weird. I really loved this episode. A lot. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
27
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E10- Will Scarsdale Like Josh's Shayna Punim?
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! In this installment of the Josh & Rebecca Show, there's a bar mitzvah to go to, and Rebecca is expecting Josh to mock everyone and hate it all...but he doesn't. And just as she begins to have a major breakthrough, Josh proposes. This show, I swear to god. Thanks for listening!
-
26
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E09- When Do I Get To Spend Time With Josh?
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This episode was full of surprises, and the biggest one is that it's mostly about Rebecca and Josh being disgustingly happy together. I had no idea we were going to turn this corner again, and honestly I see that it's an accurate depiction of how hard it can be to move on, but it's not capturing my interest in this case. The only thing that saves this episode is the introduction of the new and acidic owner of the firm, Nathaniel. Thanks so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
25
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E08- Who Is Josh's Soup Fairy?
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! I want to register my shock that Josh's new relationship is already over, although I'm not sad about it and I really hope that Josh actually suffers a little. Does that make me a bad person? Oh well, we already knew that. Meanwhile, there's the drama with Paula and her husband, which I'm dreading watching further because I want her to forgive him but even if she does, things will never be the same again. In good news, though, Rebecca manages to prove herself to Paula and they are friends again. YAY. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
24
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E07- Who's The Cool Girl Josh Is Dating?
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode, and for commissioning a live-watch despite the fact that I got it wrong! This episode is one of the few that deals in a situation that I confess I don't have a lot of experience in, and in that sense I had to suspend some disbelief and also accept that people recovering from breakups tend to be much more irrational than I can understand. Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
-
23
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E06- Who Needs Josh When You Have A Girl Group?
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode, and for her patience when my internet went out (YET AGAIN) and I had to finish my recording off the air. This episode was so damn painful to watch. Poor Paula, and then Poor Rebecca. I hate seeing two people I really like fight, especially when they each have some really good points and valid reasons for feeling the way they do about one another. Thank you for listening, and I will be seeing you soon with a new episode!
-
22
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E05- Why Is Josh's Ex-Girlfriend Eating Carbs?
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! Forgive me for being so terribly behind. But this episode brought all my greatest dreams for this show into reality, because now Rebecca and Valencia are friends and I'm just SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. Thanks for listening!
-
21
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E04- When Will Josh And His Friend Leave Me Alone?
Thank you so much to Tia for commissioning this episode! So I'm pretty stoked that it looks like this show is evolving into a show about female friendship instead of just a woman who is on the edge and making crazy decisions totally based on the men in her life. I'm extremely interested in this line of development, especially vis a vis fucking HEATHER of all people being Miss Douche. There is so much good shit this episode, and it's kind of hard to know where to begin, but the thing that resonated for me the most was Paula getting an abortion. She's making the right decision and I just can't wait to see her in school. YAY!Thanks for listening, and i will see you again soon with a new episode!
-

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E02- When Will Josh See How Cool I Am?
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! OMG this episode is really something. It's becoming clear that Rebecca sees that she isn't getting what she needs from Josh even though she's been trying to convince herself that isn't the case, and the idea doesn't really crystallize until she has a conversation with Greg. Which...girl, yikes. Meanwhile, she's supposed to be there for Paula and write her a recommendation for the law school she's applying to, and she's so wrapped up in her absurd ping pong lie that she lets her best friend down completely. Which is a huge bummer, whether she comes through with a super sweet letter or not. AGH! THIS SHOW!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S02E01-Where Is Josh's Friend?
Thank you again so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This is a hell of a premier episode to the season. I'm so delighted by the turn this has taken, because by no means does sleeping with someone mean that you are together. Now Rebecca is desperately trying to turn the. fact that they are screwing into something more substantial, and Josh is resisting every step of the way. Meanwhile, we find out what had happened to Greg. He hadn't gotten back with Rebecca because he was pulled over the next morning, still drunk from the night before. I theorize that he'd been heading to Rebecca's to apologize, but he never gets there. He's arrested and has spent the last month in mandatory AA meetings. This show is so good, y'all!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 1 Wrap-Up
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! So this episode is a little different, because I'm not covering an episode this time around. Instead, due to request, I spend an hour reflecting on what happened in the first season, naming my favorite songs so far, and making predictions on what I think will happen to some key characters. There's also a lot of questions from the audience, such as who I would like to see more of next season, my theories on certain smaller characters and what will happen to them, and whether I think Rebecca Bunch and I would be friends in real life. Thanks so much for listening and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S01E18- Paula Needs To Get Over Josh
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! I'm totally into this show, as you all know, but that doesn't mean I didn't have my doubts about where things were going RE: Greg and Josh, and I'm pleased to report that my concerns turned out to be spurious, unfounded, and without merit. This episode is all about Rebecca doing her best to move on, to temper her expectations, and to commit to someone...and that person being unable to meet her halfway and do the same. Rebecca has (or at least, had) attempted to change her patterns and make smarter choices, but Greg isn't there yet, and if both parties aren't on the same page...well, you get the kind of mess we see here. This show is so good, y'all. Don't forget to leave questions for me to answer during the wrap-up episode!

16
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S01E17- Why Is Josh In A Bad Mood?
Thank you so much to Megan for commissioning this episode! This episode is the second-to-last of the season, and there's a lot that's changed since the first episode! Rebecca is banging the hell out of Greg, for one thing, and Josh is turning down sex with his super-hot girlfriend, for another. And how about Paula? In a lot of ways I think about Paula the most because I feel like I relate to her stage of life and the way she's observing Rebecca's antics. But Paula, it's time to let it go and learn how to just be friends! PLEASE!Thanks to all of you for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S01E16- Josh's Sister Is Getting Married!
Thank you very much to Megan for commissioning this episode! I'm so glad that I got to watch this episode so soon after the previous one, because I was absolutely dying to find out what happened once Rebecca was alone with Josh. Turns out, she sends him on his way, and spends the rest of the episode focusing on putting her obsession in the rearview mirror. Unfortunately, her priorities are not the same as Paula's. And once Josh's sister shows up and asks her to be a bridesmaid, things go left. THEN. THEN SHE FUCKS GREG. C'mon, Rebecca. WYD.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, S01E15- Josh Has No Idea Where I Am!
Thank you so much to Emery for commissioning this episode! I'm in love with this show, but this episode in particular gives me some high hopes for what's coming up in Rebecca's future. She's on a plane having a therapy session, and while we all saw her sit down beside her therapist, it turns out that's not actually who she's talking to. It's all in her head. OR IS IT? Rebecca starts to see some of her more damaging patterns laid out bare, and she's rightfully alarmed to see how many times the men in her life overtook her own goals and desires. Also, she has failed to see love coming at her from places that weren't her romantic relationships, and she needs to learn to value that more. I hope this is a sign she's going to move past Josh! Fingers crossed.
