It bothered me how we were supposed to apparently just forget who he'd been, and only see this new, boring version of him that had sprung up in its place. Meanwhile, there's a whole thing with Heather trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life, and she's really startled to find out that she's a good fit in a corporate setting because she brings new ideas that are desperately needed. Rebecca starts to see some of her more damaging patterns laid out bare, and she's rightfully alarmed to see how many times the men in her life overtook her own goals and desires. Also, she has failed to see love coming at her from places that weren't her romantic relationships, and she needs to learn to value that more. I hope this is a sign she's going to move past Josh!
