Crazy For UK!

Send a text Hold onto your crumpets, darlings—this week, The Punching Judys are going full Brit-mode! 🇬🇧☕ After discovering that over half their audio podcast listeners hail from the UK, the girls break out into a joyous (and possibly off-key) rendition of Rule Britannia. Between raising imaginary pints and attempting posh accents, the Judys shower their UK fans with love, proving that laughter truly knows no borders. In Favorite Things the gals dive into the gloriously campy world of Madam’s Place, the 1980s sitcom starring Waylon Flowers and Madame—because nothing says “iconic” like shoulder pads and sassy one-liners. 🎭 Could a reboot be in the works? (The Judys volunteer as tribute.) Then, in Miscellaneous, things get deliciously chaotic as they recap a recent pizza parlor escapade, debating the merits of controversial toppings (looking at you, pineapple warriors 🍕🍍) and a mind-bending trip to Seattle’s Museum of Pop Art. Was it high culture or just an excuse to take silly selfies with genius works of Keith Haring? Why not both? But wait—there’s a plot twist! Ruby used to hang out with Ms. Pak-Man, tune in for the deets!!! On another note, our beloved Louvel is taking a brief hiatus for some “spa time” (aka surgery—send healing vibes!), so Seattle’s queen of all things Bacon, Sylvia O’Stayformore, is stepping into the hosting hot seat. Will there be glitter bombs? Unplanned karaoke? A dramatic reading of Yelp reviews? Only time will tell. One thing’s for sure: This episode is packed with laughs, nostalgia, and enough British charm to make the Royal Guard crack a smile. #MadamesPlace #WaylandAndMadame #SpingComedy #Elsbeth #CarriePreston #ScottShoemaker #MsPak-Man @Ms_Pak_Man #PizzaAddiction @SunnyHillPizza #MOPOP #KeithHaring #GrahamNorton #UKComedy #DameEdna @SylviaOstayformore #BaconStripSeattle #UKFanLove #PodcastHumor #80'sNostalgia #PizzaDebates TikTok Instagram Watch The Episode On Youtube!
