Key ScriptureMatthew 12:46-5046 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” 48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”Mark 2:3-53 Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. 4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”PrayerFather, thank you for the incredible gift of love. Thank you most of all for the greatest gift of love - Jesus!Holy Spirit, help me learn to be loved by ou and help me learn to love others as you have loved me.Help me set aside distractions and to be present this morning.
