Who do you go to when you need help? All of us — no matter how self-sufficient we may think we are — have a deep human need for connection. We need others to help us grow, to see the things we can’t see in ourselves, to meet our physical needs when we can’t do it ourselves, and to point us to God. We all need these things to make it through our days, and to really thrive in our lives. That’s why we talk about Small Groups so often… because it’s in these small communities where the good stuff of life really happens. They’re where we develop close friendships, feel deeply known and loved, get support for our problems (big and small!), and keep pointing each other back to God.
