INSPIRATION: A daily self-affirmation that I'm created to give God pleasure and that He delights in me builds my self-worth and helps me overcome any eternal force that tries to deflate my self-esteem. It also prevents me from indulgences that negate this truth. It helps me to be self-conscious of what I allow or disallow so as to make sin far from me, knowing that sin doesn't bring God pleasure. However, the will to give Him pleasure is not self-determined. It is God who works in us to effect it. ‭ For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him. Knowing this, it is up to you to cooperate and yield willingly to Him to create in you the passion to please Him. Obedience and submissiveness pleases Him. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭When God creates the atmosphere for us to please Him, your responsibility is to dutifully align by do so to get Him plessed. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to seize every moment to bring pleasure to You. May my life, thoughts and actions come up to You as a pleasing offering; may You derive maximum pleasure from my obedience and submissiveness as a form of my worship. If You ever need to make reference to getting pleasure from earth, may I be the source, in Jesus name.
