Created To Worship

It’s surprising that John the Apostle, a founding member of the early Church, would make the mistake of worshiping anything other than Jesus. Yet that’s exactly what happens in today’s passage. As Pastor Danny warns, you shouldn’t be too quick to judgment. If you were in his place, face to face with one of God’s glorious angels, you likely would be tempted to do the same. Even the temporary works of man draw your praise and admiration, so be careful. Christ alone should hold that place in your heart.
