Creating a Safe Space to Share Our Experiences on Violence & Trauma | Baseline Tenets of Empathy I want to start off by thanking everyone who has taken the time to listen to my experience, and for holding space for me while I spoke vulnerably, about my experience being stalked for the last four years. As we continue to engage in dialogue, I just ask that we be intentional with how we position our thoughts and opinions about what behaviours attract trauma. In all cases, correlation is not causation and speaking out about violence that dehumanizes, degrades and demeans is its own very real challenge.
