My guest today is Richard Cartwright, a television and film photographer veteran. Richard began his career in New York in 1967, before becoming a Navy photographer in Vietnam in 1968, then a fashion photographer in Boston, before moving to Los Angeles, where he would launch his long standing career in the entertainment business as a set photographer. Richard has shot countless tv shows and films ranging from Wedding Crashers, to Scandal, to How To Get Away With Murder, to Grey’s Anatomy, to Hidalgo, and many more. He’s also created iconic images of Tina Turner, Robert Downey Jr, and Cate Blanchett, and countless others. He’s worked in the business for well over forty years and also practices landscape, street, architecture, and still life photography.
