IN THE GROOVE is a music-based radio show that plays music strictly from vinyl records, particularly classic rock. Listeners will not only hear the crackle and pop famous to vinyl, but they will also hear a much more rich and fuller sound than they would from digital music. Music played will not only be the usual hits, but deep cuts from an artist's or band's back catalogue. The host, Harry Brownstein, a rising expert in vinyl and sound, and will offer occasional tidbits of information to listeners in regards to artists, songs, musicians, technical information (recording process/playing vinyl), as well as where to get vinyl and how to get started. All of the vinyl used for the show is from Harry's personal collection, which he has been working on for several years. IN THE GROOVE airs on Tuesdays from 10AM to 12PM on WECB, Emerson College's original student-run radio station. Tune in at www.wecb.fm
