Aged 18, Lorna experienced a tramatic brain injury which resulted in total amnesia and the development of many psychiatric illnesses causing her to be an inpatient on a psychiatric ward for almost 2 years.Art became Lorna's medicine, and she developed the ability to express herself through art which has become the centre of her recovery.
