Those who "believe in science and don't believe in God" are fond of saying we creationists simply believe in "the God of the gaps." This phrase, "the God of the gaps," implies that whenever we can't explain a mystery of nature, rather than continuing to seek an answer through scientific research and experimentation, we cop out by attributing it to God.
