Apply today at pathforgrowth.com/coaching.Amber Williams owns a brand strategy and messaging organization. She leads a team of people who work with businesses on their branding. She is one of the most creative people we work with and she has such a great attitude and perspective. When we wanted to sit down and clarify Path for Growth’s brand, we sat down with Amber for a brand strategy session and it was fantastic. Amber is passionate about helping people unleash their creative calling and we are so excited for you to join this conversation with her.  Let’s start by hearing the story of how Amber’s creative calling came to be (2:48) Sometimes the reason we reach a destination we’re not happy with is a lack of courage. Did you meet resistance when you changed paths? (9:07) Any creative step demands boldness and conviction. Where did that come from for you? (12:09) Do you think everyone has a creative calling that is manifested in different ways? (15:31) There’s a relationship between creativity and faith, isn’t there? (18:27) Saying “creative leader” is redundant - if you are a leader, you must be creative. I’d love for you to dive deeper on that. (24:18) When we think about vision we often picture a slightly different version of what we’ve already seen. What are the disciplines or practices for regaining creativity for our vision? (26:48) I learned from songwriters that there’s an important shift in creative work - a shift from creating things for people out there to creating things for me. There’s something in that mindset when it comes to calling, isn’t there? (31:51) If your definition of success is whether you did what God called you to, outside opinions are irrelevant aren’t they? (35:02) One of the myths to dispel about calling is that it’s convenient. Can you speak to the relationship between calling and action? (35:55) The risk we run in the journey of growth is plateauing at ‘adequate mastery’. Can you speak to that? (39:09) Describe for us what your creative calling is and how it expresses itself through your business (45:18) Let’s talk about the relationships between the words we use and the brand we create. Can you speak on the power of brand and why leaders should focus on their brand? (49:21) Can you speak to how teams can take the heartbeat of the founder and bring it to life? (55:53) Speak to the relationship between brand and story, specifically why it’s important to weave your story into the brand (59:56) We did a team branding session with Amber. Can you speak to the value of getting the team engaged to inform your brand?
