Creative Quest #21: Our Plan Has Worked So Far - But What Comes Next? Our Biggest Leap of Faith?

Episode 21! This is a big one for us! Over the last 18 months we've had this dream of cutting out the 9-5 grind in jobs that we have no passion for, and seeking a more fulfilling, creative life instead. We started to hold ourselves accountable to that goal just over a year ago when we started our podcast, journaling that journey. Now, Raven has quit her job and moved into a part time job that's in line with her beliefs and goals, and now I have also quit my job and have just one week left until I leave it for good. This is an absolutely massive moment for us, as it means we're able to take the next steps towards achieving our dreams, but what will that actually look like? What comes next? In this episode, we take a deep look at how we got to this point and what the future will hopefully look like. We'll be upping our game in so many ways, including how we develop the podcast. After all, now that we're achieving our initial goals, it makes sense that the podcast evolves with us! So, take a seat and enjoy. We're still working on that last one...- Building a social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok: comparing results across each platform to see which ones can yield the best results as well as what impact paid advertising has through each one.- Art and design: Raven creates all of our art assets herself; all the logos, title cards, intros, outros, thumbnails, etc. so we often dive into how important this is and what tools are available to help.- Motivation and Encouragement: We often dig into motivational rants and encourage our listeners to pursue their passions in life and to not let anything hold them back.- We also dive into topics such as Photography, Audio Engineering, and general tech talk for platforms like OBS, Canva, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.Making this podcast keeps us on track and holds us to account: it pushes us to keep doing better and improving ourselves and our results, and our hope is that it will also help you in your own creative endeavours.
