For this episode Dr. Bloom and Richard are joined by Ami Dayan and Brian Norbert. Ami Dayan is an award winning Israeli/American playwright, director, and performer. He studied and worked professionally in Europe, Israel and extensively in the United States. He currently serves on the board of the Jaipur Literature Festival in Colorado, and the in CU Boulder; and is founder of The Interview Game Inc., a Boulder based company with a mission of bridging the intergenerational gap, and bringing people ever closer with curated reciprocal interviews. Brian Norber lives in Los Angeles and has joyously spent most of his life making his living as an actor. He did his first show at 6 years old, got his first professional job in the theatre at 16 and made his living on stage in musicals for the next 42 years. Along with his love for acting he has always nurtured his other dreams and passions such as drawing, painting, writing and a deep desire to try to obliterate prejudice in this world any chance he can. This last year all of those passions came together when he self published his first children’s book A DINOSAUR NAMED HARRY which he wrote and illustrated. A story about a dinosaur who can’t find friends because he’s different and a boy who can’t see anything but Harry’s true heart. Reminding us that different isn’t scary, fear is scary.
