Alexandria Perez is a writer and director from Miami, Florida. As an undergraduate at the University of Miami, Alexandria directed the award-winning short film, Aftermath, shortly before moving to Los Angeles in 2015. Raised in a Cuban household on thrillers and musicals, ranging from Bullitt to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, she developed an affinity for genre films – specifically horror.Her short film, The Final Girl Returns, premiered at Popcorn Frights Film Festival and won a jury award for Blest Florida Short, Best Short Film at Spooky Empire Film Festival, and the Audience Award at Etheria Film Festival.
