The track "Heaven's Favorite Sin ” explores themes that resonate deeply with the world we're living in today. While many songs focus on personal experiences, Awake For Days chose to look outward, reflecting on the recurring patterns of conflict, division and the ways humanity learns to "justify" them. It's a subject the band felt they couldn't ignore. "Wars, humanitarian crises, people forced to leave their homes, growing division between societies... these aren't isolated events, they're part of a pattern we've seen throughout history. 'Heaven's Favorite Sin' isn't about one country or one conflict. It's about how easily we learn to justify things that, at their core, should never become normal. As artists, we don't believe our role is to tell people what to think, but we do believe music can encourage people to stop, reflect and ask difficult questions. ” Said Lukas.
