Rocky Balboa steps back into the ring, this time in the corner. Chris and Sean end Oscar Month with a film they felt was criminally overlooked by the Academy: Creed. Directed by Ryan Coogler, it stars Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed, who seeks out his father's friend Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, to train him as a boxer. The hosts call it a fantastic film whose sole nomination, for Stallone's fantastic return as Rocky, falls well short of the nominations it deserved.
