Creeping Totalitarianism and The Common Good

Welcome to Episode 5 of The Late Great Show podcast, with Rob Behrens. This episode details the endless safety and security rules that have been layered onto my workflow at my day job. I discuss how this seems to be an evolving attitude that has gone from, "I'll worry about my own safety" to "We'll worry about your safety and we will impose countless safety procedures on you to demonstrate  our concern and more importantly, our power". This seems to be a new, ugly societal  evolution. It's seems like more and more people are becoming obsessed with other people doing things the right way...their way. We all experienced this new social attitude during the COVID-19 pandemic. We learned that the people in power had an opinion of what was right and that all differing points of view were forbidden.
