Book club is starting about CC3, House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J Maas. Let's dig in!Samantha admits that she was too harsh when judging this book when it first came out. We continue to speculate wildly about Illyrians and Azriel. We're also totally on Nesta's side, because why can't you zipline on shadows across rivers? We wonder if there's a connection between our favorite ACOTAR characters and the Asteri and/or Hel. We spiral a little on a truly unhinged thought about the connection between Midgard and Prythian. Our favorite morally green man turns out to be a little morally gray in the end, but we'll allow it. What we WON'T allow is anyone mentioning fire sprites around us without tissues nearby. Samantha gets Megan hyped to read the Throne of Glass series next. We talk about reading order and decided to start with Throne of Glass, but since we are such hoes for the plot, we had to throw in a plot twist and change our minds after recording and actually started with The Assassin's Blade.
