This month we were joined by three guest speakers from P&I and H&M insurer Gard - Alice Jackson Amundsen, Vice President, Head of People Claims; Kunal Pathak, Loss Prevention Manager Asia; and Malene Wang, a lawyer in Gard’s Asian charterers and traders defence team. All three speakers debated the current situation and identified the challenges and the long-term effects of the crisis on seafarers and shipping more generally. They went on to discuss how the industry was responding and touched on a range of other related issues.
