Crews battle 'extremely large' wildfire in West Deptford Township

The KYW Newsradio All Local on Saturday, April 11 2026 (evening edition): A smokey 160-acre wildfire burning in West Deptford Township near the Sunoco refinery property. Gloucester County Emergency Management telling us smoke and falling ash were reported as far south and east as Glassboro and Washington Township. ... Crews have been demolishing a parking garage in Grays Ferry after it partially collapsed earlier this week, killing one Ironworker and leaving two others unaccounted for. As KYW Newsradio’s Sunny Morgan tells us, the Ironworkers’ Union has identified the workers who were killed and presumed dead as Stepan Shevchuk, Matthew Kane and Mark Scott Jr. ... No love lost for one federal agency....a demonstration this afternoon in Philly's Love Park... Two days before City Council is set to discuss several bills to limit ICE operations in Philadelphia, people gathered to rally support. Councilmember Kendra Brooks is one of the chief sponsors of the ICE Out package. ... Philadelphia police are searching for two men...They say they fatally shot a woman in Cobbs Creek earlier this week...She was on her lunch break... when she was killed.
