introducing: criaturas. mind & body explorations in relation to time, sound, and space. the term is taken from clarissa pinkola estés's women who run with the wolves, where it names the instinctual creature living beneath the acculturated self. each edition becomes a live study of what surfaces when structure and instinct are allowed to move together rather than against each other. soundscapes, groove, and psychedelia, structure and surrender, rooted in low-end. this first edition follows the turn of early august, when the year's heat crests and begins to fold back on itself. form giving the surge somewhere to travel, the surge giving form something worth holding. www.operator-radio.com
