A former Utah Highway Patrol trooper from Willard has been charged in a case involving a 17-year-old boy, including allegations he exposed himself and showed the teen pornographic content. Robert Ellis Nelson, 57, faces five criminal counts in First District Court: distributing material harmful to a minor, a third-degree felony; obstruction of justice, a third-degree felony; and three counts of lewdness, class B misdemeanors.
