Conniff” On Tuesday, November 2, 2010, Chicago and DuPage County, Criminal Defense Attorney, Anthony J. Conniff, will appear and describe the criminal court process in DuPage County. WHO – Anthony J. Conniff practices criminal law in DuPage County, Illinois, suburban Chicagoland. After his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1972, Conniff went to Loyola University (grad 1975) and the Northern Illinois University Law School (grad 1978). Conniff then spent 6 years working as a Deputy Public Defender before turning to private practice, and during his career, he has been active in teaching and serving the legal and non legal communities with education and outreach. SUBJECT MATTER – Do you know what to do if you get pulled over? What if you’re driving a friend’s car, do you consent to a search? What can you do to prepare and help your lawyer defend any charges filed against you? Anthony Conniff will tell us a few war stories and share some practical advice for anyone who may come in contact with the criminal courts in DuPage County, Illinois where Tony has practiced for over 30 years.
