How can you tell if a character is Black on an animated series; of course by the stereotypical voice inflections. Descriptions like Sassy or Thuggish or Ghetto meant to describe the manner that industry types ascribe to the voices of Black people find their way into television and film at an alarmingly consistent rate. In these instances, how do we as Black people take control of our branding?
