Crista Bramlitt

from True Crime All The Time Unsolved

In 1996, 23-year-old Crista Bramlitt was living in Clarksville, Tennessee, and working on getting her life in order.  The year before, her two children had moved with Crista's mother to Texas. Crista wanted to get her GED and move to the Carolinas where she could take back her kids and give them the life they deserved. But, her life was ended when someone murdered her inside her trailer in the mobile home park where she lived. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Crista Bramlitt. Police discovered DNA evidence at the crime scene but had no luck in matching it. Their investigation stalled and the case went cold for many years. But, in 2019, authorities finally got a hit that led them to a suspect named Kenneth Hudspeth. Only time will tell if police have the right man because as of right now the case remains unsolved. But one of the big questions, in this case, is how was Hudspeth, a career criminal, not identified through DNA many years earlier?
