Cristina Hubbard, of Forest Web, talks about saving old growth forests, wolves, and ecosystems in Oregon

Cristina Hubbard is executive director of Forest Web of Cottage Grove. Like the mycorrhizal fungal filaments beneath the forest floor, holding the ecosystem together, Forest Web pulls information and actions together from many local groups. Forest Web is also involved in protecting local parks and BLM old growth forests near Cottage Grove, like the Boehner Woods they convinced the BLM to designate as an Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC). Cristina talks about their fight to protect the Elliott State Forest, Wolves in Oregon, and even the Roseburg BLM old growth forest threatened by the Lone Rock Timber's road right of way (of which Francis gives an update on it's current status).
