Critical Cisco Vulnerability Exploited by Threat Actors

from GoYou Cybersecurity

Cisco has confirmed that a critical vulnerability (CVE-2026-20230) in Cisco Unified Communications Manager is being exploited by threat actors. The server-side request forgery (SSRF) flaw can allow attackers to elevate privileges to root. The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has added the flaw to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and Cisco strongly recommends upgrading to a fixed software release to remediate the vulnerability.
