Critical Issues in National Security Law, The Future – a conversation with Dr. John Hamre

We are entering into the next epoch of U.S. foreign policy. Dr. John Hamre is president and CEO of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He notably served as US deputy secretary of defense from 1997 to 1999 and undersecretary of defense from 1993 to 1997. Before his tenure at the Department of Defense, Hamre was professional staff member to the Senate Armed Services Committee and deputy assistant director at the Congressional Budget Office.
