from Rank Rotten: A Rotten Movies Podcast

Season 2, Episode 3. This month we’re talking all things CRITE (or is it KRITE, it’s up for debate) with 1986’s Critters, on it’s 40th Anniversary no less! It’s seen by many as simply a Gremlins ‘rip-off’ and by many others as a sci fi heavy creature feature cult classic, so we’ll talk about all this and more including floating prison wardens, space poisons and the FAMOUS Johnny Steele…Synopsis: A group of small but vicious alien creatures called Crites escape from an alien prison transport vessel and land near a Kansas farm house. It’s up to the Brown family and some of the locals to fend off the maniacal munching monsters until back up in the form shapeshifting alien bounty hunters can arrive!  Join us as we talk about the film’s scores, go over the whole plot, talk about trivia and more.
