Cross-examination of Magistrate Vivian Cronje concludes in Senzo Meyiwa trial-within-a-trial

The counsels of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial have resumed the cross-examination of magistrate Vivian Cronje, after she took down a statement from accused number two, Bongani Ntanzi in 2020. Last week, the High Court in Pretoria heard that Ntanzi was allegedly assaulted four times in detention, a claim refuted by Cronje. The court also heard that the absence of visible injuries on a complainant, does not mean that the complainant has not been assaulted. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Horisani Sithole
