Cross S2 E7 [Reaction]

Steven and Régine are breaking down Cross Season 2, Episode 7—and unfortunately, this one was a letdown. Before we dive into Cross, we're talking about weather woes and our disappointment in current TV shows that aren't meeting expectations. Then we get into Episode 7, recapping the plot and analyzing character arcs and storyline critiques. We discuss the episode's lack of suspense and how it felt like filler, character storylines that were rushed or poorly developed, and the predictability and plot holes that undermined the tension. We break down the unsatisfying and predictable ending, unresolved questions about key characters, and why the season finale needs to address major plot holes. We also discuss the pyramid scheme storyline, character dynamics and hidden agendas, our anticipation for the season finale despite this episode's issues, and our overall disappointment in the storytelling. We wrap it up with our final ratings and reflections on Episode 7, and what new shows we're looking ahead to. Cross Season 2 Episode 7 didn't deliver the momentum we needed heading into the finale, but we're hoping Episode 8 sticks the landing.
