Crossing Streams Ep. 13: MOVIES! Thor, Last Jedi, Guardians, Spiderman and more

"Crossing Streams" becomes a man with Episode 13, aka "Lord BrockStream." A light week of television - seriously "The Expanse," you've got one week left, get your act together - leads to another discussion about trailers, as our dexterous duo debate whether "Thor: Ragnarok," despite unquestionably succeeding at creating interest in the movie, gave away too much of the plot, as opposed to "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," which revealed basically nothing. From there it's all about whether Marvel wants to keep two cosmic franchises (three if you count "Doctor Strange") going simultaneously, especially when "Thor: Ragnarok" seems to be taking a lot of its beats from "Guardians of the Galaxy” — which took a lot of its beats from the Thor comics, in turn — and by finally giving the underrated and hilarious Chris Hemsworth material worthy of his talents. Matt also talks "Better Call Saul" and "iZombie.” We haven't had a three-hour podcast since Matt first came on the show, so plan a road trip, go run a marathon or do something else that'll take awhile, and strap in!
