CRTV.em

from .em · host Jeremy Hubbard/MegaBit

This piece was created by dangling an Electromagnetic Pick-up in front of a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) television and recording the electro-magnetic signals that are produces by the 'electron gun' that fires down the tube onto the TV screen. The resulting mono audio is then processed and manipulated in such a way as to create an evolving and expansive harmonic spectrum of sound resulting in an organ like cacophony at its climax.
