Norwegian Dawn scored 84 on a March 29, 2026 CDC Vessel Sanitation Program inspection, below the minimum passing score of 86, and Norwegian Cruise Line filed a corrective-action report with the CDC five days later, ahead of the ship's Jacksonville homeport season running November 2026 through March 2027. And off British Columbia, a passenger aboard Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas was airlifted on August 8, 2026 roughly 52 nautical miles northwest of Tofino, after Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Victoria dispatched a CH-149 Cormorant helicopter and a CC-295 Kingfisher aircraft and the ship increased speed to 22 knots to reach the rendezvous point; the patient was taken to a Victoria hospital and the sailing continued its Alaska itinerary.
