Humanity has sinned, brokenness has flooded the world, and fear and shame now cling to the human heart. Yet into this moment of darkness, God speaks the very first promise of redemption.In Genesis 3:14–15, often called the Protoevangelium—the “first gospel”—God declares that an offspring of the woman will one day crush the serpent’s head. It is a stunning word of hope spoken into the ruins of rebellion. And it points unmistakably to Jesus Christ, the One who defeats the powers of sin, temptation, and death through His life, death, and resurrection.This episode invites listeners to consider what it means to wait well for God’s redeeming work, even when life feels fractured or uncertain.
