For our eighth episode in our Cryptids season, we’re going to talk about flying beasts! A flying cryptid is any cryptid that has evolved to fly. There are also gliding cryptids, but they have evolved slightly differently to flying cryptids, as they can’t fly on their own. Flying cryptids have evolved a number of different times without a single ancestor that brings them together. Think of any big bird with wings, it can probably be categorized as a flying beast. (Hint: Does Big Bird count??)
