CS 1317: Friendship: Friday

Inspired by the Christ-centered friendships of Blessed Pier Georgio, let's explore Christian Friendship, through the example of some saints who were friends in real life! Monday: hear the story of 16 French nuns, united in friendship, who bravely faced death and effectively ended the Reign of Terror Tuesday: hear the story of St Ignatius of Loyola and St. Francis Xavier, college roommates who baptized tens of thousands! Wednesday: hear the story of St. Marcina the Younger, and the friendships she had with her siblings, most of which are now saints too! Thursday: hear the story of Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi, and how their radical choice to follow Jesus made it possible for others to do the same. Friday: hear the story of Sts. Felicity and Perpetua, two very different women who, united in Jesus, bravely faced death in His name.
