In order to escape their fate, an unlikely pair forges a bond in times of strife and heads out to America, meeting up with new friends and settling into something of a paranormal detective agency, when part-time business associate professor Swanson Ames goes off the radar. Re-appearing later in a mental asylum, rambling about reefs and sunken cities, the remaining members are left with only a golden crown and a few oddities surrounding Ames' rescue from the ocean to uncover the truth, before anything else weird happens.
