Applied knowledge is more often limited to sensual knowledge, which can be gathered or acquired by mortal men and applied by them, anything above this is foolishness to the mortal man. The wisdom of God is not acquired or gathered, it is given and received. As a result of this no one can boast or pride in the wisdom of God because, it is a gift not an acquisition.
