Cuba: Image or Reality

Is Cuba really a model of Socialist governance? Must Leftists and socialists defend the Cuban government in order to deflect criticism of their progressive ideology? Paul Damato - managing editor of the International Socialist Review - says unequivocably "No." While Cuba's social system is in many ways superior to that of the U.S., it is imperative that Leftists separate image from reality.
