Leila Rahimi and Marshall Harris opened their show by discussing the red-hot Cubs, who have won 15 of their past 18 games to ascend to first place in the NL Central. After that, they listened and reacted to Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer’s recent comments on the club’s string of pitching injuries. Later, they discussed how fun the White Sox are to watch these days. The White Sox won their series against the Padres and sit just 1.5 games out of first place in the AL Central.
