Cubs Should Be Buyers At The MLB Trade Deadline

The Major League Baseball trade deadline is about 48 hours away. The Cubs should be adding to their roster to help ensure a nice run in October. Here are the needs they need to address (in order): late reliever, a second late reliever or starter, another bat off the bench. The problem is there are so many teams still in contention for a postseason berth. Could also see the front office not making any moves claiming the price is too high for notable additions. Honorable mention: Alex Bregman is (finally) starting to come to life in the Cubs lineup, Pedro Ramirez may be the biggest surprise of all, and so many injured Cubs close to returning.
