The brothers Farivar established the original Peacock Cafe in 1991 – a modest 6 seat restaurant and take out café, which quickly became a Georgetown neighborhood fixture, with Shahab greeting customers and Maziar preparing fresh, healthy foods. Seven years later, they celebrated the grand opening of their current location offering fine dining with a much larger menu and white tablecloths, yet still preparing farm-fresh, simple, elegant dishes.
