Within 6 months of its opening, it was awarded the Gault & Millau revelation of the year and in less than a year received its first Michelin star. Chef Mauro is a multiple award-winning and Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur, driven by instinct and vision. He is passionate about his commitment to the earth and oceans and in 2022 was named Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity by UNESCO. In 2020, Mirazur was the first restaurant in the world to obtain the Plastic Free Certificate. Chef Mauro is a chef without borders, operating award-winning and Michelin-starred restaurants throughout Asia, Argentina, France and the US, inspired by the Mediterranean spirit, his multicultural background and his international vision.
