On this week’s episode, host Caryn Antonini is joined by Claudia Romo Edelman, a Mexican-Swiss speaker, media contributor, social activist, co-host of A La Latina Podcast and CEO of Romo Sotol, her family’s artisan Mexican spirits company. Sotol is derived from the dasylirion plant which is native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. Currently, Claudia is in the process of creating her own premium Sotol brand, which will reflect her family’s story and the spirit of the Mexican desert. Sotol is enjoyed in regional Mexican cultures, but less known to the outside world.
