On this week’s episode, host Caryn Antonini is joined by Dr. Micaela Pallini, President and CEO of Pallini Company, a fifth generation, award-winning Limoncello and liqueur producer in Rome, Italy. The company was established in 1875 and remains one of Rome’s oldest and most important companies in the beverage industry - and today is the only remaining distillery in Rome. Micaela began her involvement with Pallini 25 years ago, eventually becoming Director and the Head of Production. She holds a Doctoral Degree in chemistry from Roma Tor Vergata University in Rome and utilized her background in chemistry to improve upon the existing family recipes. Pallini celebrates 150 years in operation this year and is the leading Limoncello brand in the U.S. marketplace and in the Duty Free segment.
